Drawing Room Rocks, a Vista point brand, offers visitors a delightful experience with its unique and picturesque weathered rocks. These rocks have formed into charming structures that resemble small tables and chairs, reminiscent of a Victorian drawing room. Located just a short walk away from the summit, the trail presents a relatively easy journey with a manageable 200m ascent on a well-maintained track. While there are no railings at the summit, safety is easily ensured.
Not only does Drawing Room Rocks offer stunning views, even on overcast days, but it is also conveniently situated just a 10km drive from Berry. To avoid any inconvenience, it is recommended to arrive early to secure parking near the trailhead. The path up includes some steep sections with exposed tree roots, yet it remains clear and has recently undergone maintenance. This walk promises a rewarding experience, boasting a breathtaking view that is well worth the 40-minute one-way trek. However, it is advisable to avoid visiting during wet conditions due to muddy sections along the track. It is important to note that Google Maps may provide inaccurate directions, so following road signages to the Drawing Room Rocks walking track is recommended. Visitors can look forward to an unforgettable adventure, appreciating the natural beauty and impressive rock formations that make Drawing Room Rocks a must-visit destination.

Fantastic views, even on an overcast day, and only a 10km drive from Berry. It is best to arrive early in order to park close to the start of the track. Some steep sections with exposed tree roots, but path up is very clear and had recent maintenance at the time of our walk.
Lovely little walk to the summit to visit the weathered rocks. The walk is pretty easy and about 200m in ascent on a well formed track. The summit does not have railings but it's easy to stay safe.
The rocks have weathered into what looks like small tables and chairs (mimicking the layout of a Victorian drawing room).
Parking is limited on the trail leading to the trail head but there seemed to be plenty of pull over spots and despite it being busy we were able to park 300m down the track and walk from there.
🥲Nice view at the end, scary cliff but…
I should have investigated more on national park website. We took little kid without proper equipment the day after heavy rains. It was a great effort to get up and unsafe to get down
This is a grade 4 trail. It has a lot of steps up and down, short distance but may take around 40 mins one-way thanks to the humidity and slippery. Some steps become a little pond and muddy after rain.
Nice short steep walk . Slippery when wet. Nice views of valley and to ocean. Popular with families. Grade 4 walk
This is quite a spectacular lookout with a great view of the coastal fringe.
It takes about 25-30 minutes to complete the uphill walk on a easily followed track. It can be a little slippery for those not wearing quality hiking shoes or boots, so a little care is needed.
Overall it’s definitely worth the time and effort to make it a place to visit when you are in the Kangaroo Valley area.
Amazing scenery and overlooking view of the coast/mountain range. It takes approximately 45mins hike to go up so around 2 hours return. You’ll need 2.5-3hrs minimum time to hike here. The trail is bit challenging so you also have to be physically fit. This is a medium level trail but you’ll be able to hike with your kids with supervision especially in the cliffs.
One "walk for reward" basis, this short track up is OUTSTANDING" value. The views are superb
Loved it. Track up is a little rough, but we managed without a 4WD vehicle. Nice 1.5km hike to the top , its steap, and lots of steps. But the view is worth it, and return by the same track. Only one brown snake crossed our path.
